My third day in Gangtok started with the excitement to reach North Sikkim i.e Lachung, Lachen, Zero Point, Yumthang Valley, and Gurudongmar Lake.
My blog is in two parts:
Part 1:
We reached the Taxi Stand of Gangtok and from there we boarded in our Shared taxi. We got accompanied by wonderful couples from Kolkata and two college students.
We got a 3000 INR per head package for 2 nights and 3 days.
Note: Permit is needed to visit North Sikkim. As I told you in previous blogs too. 2 photographs and your photo ID proof.
People who have health issues or breathing problems, please avoid North Sikkim.
Back to our journey,
The first Spot we came across was ButterFly WaterFall.
The second was Naga WaterFall
Food, accommodation, and transport was included in our package.
Though the journey to Lachung was 115 km long and it took 8 hrs to reach our hotel in Lachung. But sightseeing was worth to enjoy.
The next morning, our group got ready for Zero Point and Yumthang valley.
We return to our hotel for dinner and after that left for Lachen.
I am thankful to my journey partners who made my journey memorable.
